A student who has admitted in the past that her surname makes for an "amazing ice breaker" has sparked giggles after standing for election.

Tuna Kunt, who is originally from Turkey, is aiming to become the student union leader at City University in London.

Already the president of her law society, she is hoping to become SU president as well promising to work on "equality and inclusion".

Tuna has set up a Facebook page and her other pledges include improving student spaces and personal tutoring.
